If you are wondering who Can Yaman is dating right now, the reality of his romantic life may surprise you. This comprehensive, evidence-based guide breaks down his current relationship status, addresses ongoing rumors, and reflects on his most famous past relationships.
The Current Status: Is Can Yaman Single?
As of mid-2026, Can Yaman is not publicly confirmed to be in a serious relationship, and he maintains a highly private personal life.
While international tabloids and fan communities frequently link him to various co-stars and models, Yaman has intentionally shifted his public focus away from his romantic life to protect his professional career. In fact, he famously took a break from social media, deleting his 11-million-follower Instagram account in June 2024 to avoid digital distractions before opening a new account in March 2025.
The Sara Bluma Rumors
In late 2025 and early 2026, Italian entertainment tabloids and social media pages reported a potential connection between Can Yaman and a woman named Sara Bluma. Reports surfaced that the two were spotted together in Madrid and Milan, sparking intense fan speculation about an engagement or serious partnership. However, neither Yaman nor his official management team has validated these claims as an official relationship, keeping the status of their connection strictly private.
Past High-Profile Relationships and Rumors
To understand why the public is so fascinated by Can Yaman's dating life, it is helpful to look back at his most famous real-life romances and the fictional pairings that blurred the lines for fans.
1. Diletta Leotta (2021)
Can Yaman's most notable, fully verified public relationship was with Italian sports presenter Diletta Leotta in 2021.
* The Romance: The couple went public in early 2021, instantly becoming a favorite target for paparazzi across Italy and Turkey. Their whirlwind romance escalated quickly, with reports highlighting a lavish marriage proposal.
* The Breakup: By the autumn of 2021, the couple had split. Leotta later discussed the relationship on Italian television, noting that the intensity of public and media scrutiny made it difficult to maintain a normal relationship.
2. Demet Özdemir (The Erkenci Kuş Era)
No discussion of Can Yaman's love life is complete without mentioning Demet Özdemir, his co-star in the 2018–2019 global phenomenon Erkenci Kuş (Daydreamer).
* On-Screen Chemistry: Their undeniable chemistry led to immense international popularity and rampant rumors that they were dating off-screen.
* The Reality: While the two actors have spoken fondly of each other as exceptional professional partners, they never officially confirmed a real-life romantic relationship during or after the show. Fan-generated videos and headlines claiming a "reunion" are strictly speculative and driven by nostalgia for the television series.
3. Francesca Chillemi (Viola come il mare)
Following his move to Italy to star in Italian-language television dramas, Yaman was heavily linked to his Viola come il mare (Purple Like the Sea) co-star, former Miss Italy Francesca Chillemi.
* The Context: Because the two displayed natural chemistry during promotional tours, celebrity gossip columns hinted at a behind-the-scenes romance.
* The Reality: Chillemi is in a long-term relationship with her partner, Stefano Rosso. Yaman and Chillemi have repeatedly clarified that they are close friends and professional colleagues.
Can Yaman’s Professional Shift: Focusing on Global Projects
A major reason Can Yaman keeps his dating life out of the headlines is his rigorous filming schedule for high-budget international projects. Rather than focusing on romance, his recent years have been defined by a massive career transition.
Project TitleRoleProduction Language / PlatformContext & DetailsSandokanSandokanItalian / Lux VideA highly anticipated revival of the classic pirate adventure series, which premiered in December 2025.El TurcoBalaban HasanEnglish / Ay YapımAn international historical drama filmed in Hungary, exploring an Ottoman soldier's life in an Italian village.Viola come il mareFrancesco DemirItalian / Canale 5A successful crime-comedy drama that solidified Yaman’s status as a major television star in Italy.
His involvement in these physically demanding roles—requiring intense martial arts, horseback riding, and language training—leaves little room for the media circus that typically accompanies high-profile celebrity dating.
Understanding Turkish Drama Fan Culture
It is important for general audiences to understand that popularity in the Turkish television sector (often referred to as Dizi) is deeply tied to viewer engagement.
Why Are Dating Rumors So Common?
Turkish romantic comedies rely heavily on the emotional connection between the two leads. When a show becomes a global hit, fans frequently desire for the on-screen love story to become a reality. This phenomenon regularly leads to:
* Subjective Media Coverage: Tabloids often present friendly interactions between co-stars as "evidence" of a secret relationship to generate website traffic.
* Social Media Speculation: Fan edits, old photos, and mistranslated interviews can create a false impression of an active relationship. When reading about Turkish celebrities, it is best to rely on direct statements from the actors or their official representatives rather than speculative fan accounts.
Is Can Yaman married?
No. Can Yaman has never been married. While he was previously reported to be engaged during his relationship with Diletta Leotta in 2021, the couple separated before any wedding took place.
Does Can Yaman have children?
No, Can Yaman does not have any children.
Does Can Yaman live in Turkey or Italy?
Can Yaman primarily lives in Rome, Italy. He relocated there in 2021 to expand his acting career into European television, master the Italian language for professional roles, and establish his children's charity, the Can Yaman for Children foundation.
Where can I watch Can Yaman's latest series?
His classic Turkish series like Erkenci Kuş and Dolunay are widely available on global streaming platforms and official YouTube channels. His European projects, including Viola come il mare and Sandokan, air on major European networks like Italy's Mediaset and select global streaming platforms.
While Can Yaman remains one of the most eligible and talked-about bachelors in the international entertainment industry, he is currently single and keeping his private life entirely out of the spotlight. His focus remains firmly fixed on headlining major international series like Sandokan and El Turco. For fans wanting the truest updates on his life, looking to his official professional announcements is always more reliable than tracking the latest tabloid rumors.
